The woman’s breast has been a favourite subject in art for centuries. And still is. The art that expresses our desires, ideals and lust as well as our fears, frustrations and loss. The breast is symbol of both power and powerlessness. Of the many meanings that she can represent, one is unambiguously set: the woman’s breast is the most durable source of food of all time. The one reason she deserves a sculpture in public space. On a roundabout for example. And because of her timeless beauty and allure we will all drive an extra round. For what is the breast creamy, inspiring, pure, nurturing, divine, fascinating, tempting, thrilling, soft, caressing, delightful, sublime, luscious, naughty, awe-inspiring. She is everything. She is the source.
